Experience the true outback lifestyle at Corella’s camping ground. With spaces available for tents, camper trailers, caravans, motorhomes, and big rigs, both powered and unpowered, we cater to all adventurers.
Soak up the rural atmosphere, interact with farm animals, and enjoy an evening under the stars, complete with Georgi’s delicious cooking. The artesian baths in the paddock for campers are a highlight.
Please note, we are an authentic and rustic campsite with areas still recovering from the impact of two floods.
Most sites are not grassed, so remember to bring a mat or rent one from us.

Your Furry Friends Are Our Guests Too
Corella is a home away from home for your pets too. We appreciate that pets are integral family members and are thrilled to host them at our farm stay in QLD. Advance notice of your pets arrival is needed when booking.
We offer expansive spaces for your furry friends to enjoy, but for the safety and harmony of our farm animals and wildlife, we do require all pets to be kept on a leash or caged at ALL at all times. This applies to all size, breed and age of dogs Please note, pet owners will be held accountable for their pets’ conduct and may be asked to leave if they are not restrained.
Note: Our kelpie Ziggy is a working dog and is also free ranging as a guardian dog, assisting for guest experiences and entertainment. He is fully vaccinated and a very gentle soul.

Where are you located?
We are located in the McKinley Shire off the Flinders Highway between Julia Creek (50km east) and Richmond (102km west). Here’s a map showing where Corella is located.
How do I make a booking at Corella Creek Country Farm Stay?
If you are booking guest rooms including our family suite or guest house, we prefer you to book Corella with booking.com. If you would like to book directly, contact us via our email corellacreek@gmail.com.
Each November and occasionally during the year we release Discount Gift Vouchers or Special Offer Accommodation Packages.
Is your accommodation and camping pet-friendly?
Yes, Corella is pet-friendly accommodation. However, please keep in mind that we have our own animals on the property. We ask that you keep your pets on a leash or caged at ALL times and supervise them for the safety and comfort of all our guests. Please advise us of the number, size and breed of your Pet when booking. Note: Pets for inhouse bookings are charged $10 each per stay.
What times are check-in and check-out?
Check in is STRICKLY 2pm for rooms and 12noon for camping sites. Check-out time for all guests is strictly 10am.
How much do your rooms cost at Corella Creek Country Farm Stay?
Our rooms start from $170 per night. Our family suite sleeps up to 6 people (2 double beds and 2 single beds) from $270 per night. The whole guest house contains 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a kitchenette and can sleep up to 12 people, and costs from $600 per night. Guests booking the whole guest house specifically for family reunions or large group events can pay from $10 per site for the campground. (Catering is available at an additional fee).
How much are sites for camping or caravans at Corella Creek Country Farm Stay?
We have 4 Powered Site Camping Packages for 2 adults to a max of 6 people and fill these first. They are $50 and children are free. Extra adults are $20 each.
If these sites are filled then Unpowered Camping Packages for 2 adults at $38 per night with up to 4 , children free, are released for booking. An extra adult is $20.
Campers also have the option of purchasing delicious dinners, drinks and breakfasts onsite.
Whats included in a $50 Camping Package?
A powered site for two adults , children free, potable water, communal campfire, artesian baths, childrens play area, wood BBQ’s, toilet and shower facilities, book exchange, hand sanitiser station, farm animal interaction activity and a welcome treat plate on arrival.
What are the directions to Corella Creek Country Farm Stay?
Corella is easy to find by GPS (our specific location is 142-12-50 East and 20-39-17 South). Look for the old township of Nelia. Alternatively, the turn off is 48 kms from Julia Creek or exactly 100 kms from Richmond. Turn to the North at the telephone sign and also the town sign for Nelia – travel only 2 kms and do not cross the railway line. We are right at the railway line diagonally opposite the huge Sculpture of three Brolgas.
Do you accept walk-in's for your guest-house or caravan/ tent sites?
Camping – All bookings are preferred 24 hours in advance especially in June, July and August when our camping sites can be booked out.
Rooms – Stays in guest rooms need at least 4 hours advance notice to ensure they are serviced and ready. We prefer bookings via booking.com 24 hours in advance. In April, June, July and August book your inhouse accommodation at least a month ahead to avoid disappointment.
What meals are included in my stay?
All our accommodation bookings in the cottage guest house come with a free light breakfast for each guest each morning. Breakfast for campers are available from $15 each and all guests can also choose to upgrade to a full breakfast (5 ingredient with orange juice) for $25 per person. A two-course dinner is available starting from $35 whether you’re staying in our rooms or camping.
Can you cater to special dietary requirements?
Yes, our host Georgi is skilled in catering to different dietary needs and choices. Please let us know at the time of booking or in advance, if you have any specific dietary requirements.
How much are your tours and activities?
We offer affordable behind the scenes tours to interact with wildlife and farm animals as well as various nature and art activities. These are currently available to guests of Corella Creek and some are included in the cost of the camping packages. History and Nature tours/activities are $25 per family or $8 each per person.
Are you open for bookings all year round?
We are open year round for inhouse accommodation and camping bookings but find that April to September are the preferred months for travel particularly when camping due to the extremely uncomfortable weather, messy nature cycle and insect life during the other months.
