Our farm is home to a diverse array of rescued animals and farm animals, each with their unique backstory. Spend a day with our friendly kangaroos and delightful farm animals, and create heart-warming memories that last a lifetime. Our animals are more than pets – they’re part of our family. You can book behind the scenes tours for our farm animals or wildlife when you stay with us.

Miss Millie, ‘The Campfire Cow’, is a regular 6pmish visitor around our campfire and brings much delight to guests of all ages with her quiet ways and huge gentle eyes.

Art Gallery

The Gallery@ Nelia is an intimate gallery located in the Cottage Guesthouse and has changing exhibitions during the months of May –September.

A permanent supply of works and crafts by Rebecca Westlund are on display for sale and the gallery has an additional small gift shop and attached café that may be of interest to the travelling public.

 Since opening in 2012 photography, sculpture, textiles and Paper Toll exhibitions have been held. We welcome any artists who wish to hold an exhibition or sell their work in the Gallery.

There are also various sculptural works in the area adjacent to the gallery including the 3.5 metre ‘Brolgas’ created from vintage machinery parts and found metal by Sue Tilley of the Drill Hall Studio in Townsville.

Another sculpture, created by Rebecca Westlund who works from the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, was created from local gidgea wood and metal and highlights endangered species in Northwestern Queensland and Southern Gulf Region and the elements that impact the species survival. While Corella offers an array of experiences, the surrounding region has its own charm. Whether it’s a fishing adventure in a nearby creek there’s something for every nature lover and history lover.

Day trips from Corella include a visit to McKinlay for the Walkabout Creek Hotel from the Crocodile Dundee movie, the Blue Heeler Hotel in Kyuna and the Combo Waterhole where Australia’s ‘Waltzing Matilda’ was written.

For any visit longer than two days, a half day trip east to Richmond’s Dinosaur Museum for fossicking for the family is great fun. Or head west to our closest town of Julia Creek for a cafe/ pub lunch and pool afternoon.
