There are also various sculptural works in the area adjacent to the gallery including the 3.5 metre ‘Brolgas’ created from vintage machinery parts and found metal by Sue Tilley of the Drill Hall Studio in Townsville.
Another sculpture, created by Rebecca Westlund who works from the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, was created from local gidgea wood and metal and highlights endangered species in Northwestern Queensland and Southern Gulf Region and the elements that impact the species survival.
