What Our Guests Say About Corella Creek Country Farm Stay

Our Outback Location in Queensland

Located between Julia Creek and Richmond

Corella Creek Country Farm Stay is located 50km east of Julia Creek and 100km west of Richmond, Queensland. For those travelling the Overlanders Way to Mount Isa or even across outback Australia to Darwin, we’re a convenient stop to break up your journey. We’re only 2kms North of the Flinders Highway.

GPS 142-12-50 East 20-39-17 South (link to map).

Corella is a peaceful place under big skies, set in wide grasslands and surrounded by cattle stations. Specifically, the property is situated in and around the old township of Nelia and it’s been ‘recycled’ as an agritourism farmstay. This location means there is access to an artesian bore so you and your guests can enjoy naturally heated mineral waters in outdoor baths fabulous at sunset or under the stars at night.

Animals are the only immediate neighbours with small herds of goats and sheep, poultry and Miss Millie, “The Fireside Cow’. Orphaned wallabies and kangaroos also live there. Visit Corella for an authentic, simple, and quirky outback experience.
