Nature Walk and Talk
Price range: $8.00 through $32.00
Join our 45-minute ‘walk on the wild side’ to discover wallabies, native bird life and the goat herd in their preferred daytime resting places. Observation opportunities abound, especially for children learning awareness and skills of identification in nature. How the flora and fauna thrive on these black soil grasslands and interrelationships between humans and this environment are shared. Stories arise of the extreme and harsh weather impact over summer months and monsoon season. Some stories will open eyes to the challenges faced by outback locals over those months and why our Australian national anthem has always included the phrase ‘of drought and flooding rains’.
COST – $8 per person or $25 for a group of four or family
Includes:
- Physical walk on the 'wild goat track' and through grassland and acacia stands to the wetland.
